Underground Tape - Vellotape

Manufactured using virgin grade rot resistant polyethylene. This is the most economical way of warning excavators of buried services below ground. Many texts are available from stock. Lead free colour pigments are available. These are manufactured to your requirements & available in a variety of sizes.

Manufactured using 2 stainless steel tracer wires laid in a sinusoidal wave & laminated between 2 layers of rot resistant polyethylene. The stainless steel wire conforms to BS1554 & unlikely to corrode in soil.
A slit is made in the top layer of polyethylene to ensure a good contact. Due to its sinusoidal wave pattern, it can stretch up to 25% without damaging the metallic tracer. The text is protected from corrosion by a layer of clear polyethylene. Click product image for lager view
